Kamrul Ahsan (diplomat)
Kamrul Ahsan is a Bangladeshi diplomat. Since September 2012, he has been serving as Bangladesh's High Commissioner to Canada. Prior to this assignment, he was the Bangladesh High Commissioner to Singapore where he was the Dean of the Singapore Diplomatic and Consular Corps. == Early life and education ==
Ahsan was born in 1962 at Noakhali in Bangladesh. He attended elementary and middle school in Comilla, Bangladesh at Our Lady of Fatima High School (19671970) and Comilla Zilla School (19721977) respectively. He also studied at Dhaka College (19771979) at higher secondary level. He obtained his Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 1984.
